Mist Unit
With the time to sow seeds fast approaching and the mist unit covered in green algae, despite attempts to remove it, it was decided that a new one would be built, but first the old one needed to be dismantled. The cover is lifted off, remaining cuttings potted up, electrics and water supply disconnected.
The soil warming cable, rod thermostat, electronic leaf controller, solenoid valve were disconnected, the sand and base mesh were removed.
Lastly, the wooden base unit was taken out of the greenhouse, the base slats will be reused for the new mist unit being constructed by Kieron. An empty space in the corner of the greenhouse awaits the arrival of the new unit due to arrive next week.
