This summer the display will be created by cool pastel colours and foliage from the following plants; Cleome spinosa 'Colour Fountain Mixed'; Heliotropium x Hybrid Marine; Salvia 'Penny's Smile'; Diascia personata; Cuphea blepharophylla; Pelargonium 'Lady Plymouth' and Plectranthus argentatus 'Silver Shield'. Over the next few months, as the border matures, further plants may be added to fill any gaps.

A huge border to work on, and very attractive. The Plectranthus is one of my favourite plants, forming soft drifts, and though best in flower, still manages to look good in the off-season.
ReplyDeleteHello. Every September we take cuttings from our Plectranthus as it is very tender in the UK, it roots very easily and is a lovely plant to use in our borders. It very rarely flowers here but if the warm temperatures continue through the summer we may get lucky. Thank you for your comment, regards Allison (Gardener)
